Health Bulletin no.1

Well Master Will was driven to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on Ruskin street today at 7am. The patient was in good spirit and was received by the nursing staff. The cardiologist called around 08:20am to say he was ready for him.

First report posted at 11:05am, all went well, situation appears not as grave as first thought, careful optimism is being exercised. Patient is convalescing and will meet with his team of doctors later this afternoon. Discharge from the Institute should occur around 15:00 hours today.

Master Will was driven home along the Queen Elizabeth Driveway at 15:45 and is now back home.
Medical team feel that the situation in under control and is manageable. They gave their OK for
travel to Europe next week. So in the revised briefing books and itinerary we fly to Frankfurt and then by train to Munich for a few days and then to the Whitsun Festival in Salzburg. We will also be able to attend the Theatre Festival in August in Stratford Ontario.

O Happy turn of events.

  1. Indeed - delighted to hear this from you, since Master Will is a tad reticent about it himself. What a burden partly lifted for you too. Have a wonderful time.

  2. Huzzah, I say, huzzah! Glad it all turned out well. Enjoy the trip!

  3. And I am even more happy for selfish reasons - I get to meet you two this August !

    1. I got Will to read your blog and Harper's too
