From Saint-Paul Cathedral in London this rather nice rendition of a favourite of mine at this time of the year. Created in 1739 by Charles Wesley, it was modified to what we know today by George Whitefield a colleague of Wesley and much later again by Felix Mendelssohn.
This arrangement of O Tannenbaum by Vince Guaraldi for the television special, A Charlie Brown Christmas, brings me back to my childhood.
I am now just waiting for Will to return from London, so we can decorate the Christmas Tree.
When my sister was little, she always thought the name of the carol was "Hark the Bald Angels Sing."
